Seaside Quilting is a long arm quilting studio located in the beachside town of San Clemente, CA. Started by Kim Fernald in late 2014, Seaside Quilting helps you sew together the final pieces of your quilts into durable, long-lasting quilts. We take great pride in our workmanship and treat your quilts like they are our own.
Hi, I’m Kim! I am an avid quilter and have been sewing for over 40 years and quilting for over 5 years. I am obsessed with fabric and design! I take great pride in my workmanship and because I am a quilter too, I know how much time and effort has gone into completing the quilt top that you have entrusted to me.
If you are new to quilting, you might be wondering what longarm quilting is! Longarm quilting is a type of machine quilting done on a sophisticated computerized sewing machine that is used to sew together the quilt top, the batting, and the quilt backing into the finished quilt. Longarm machine quilting is done much faster than hand quilting and is much more durable over time.
